All ready for the 2016 edition of Artistar Jewels 2016
The now unmissable appointment with Artistar for 2016 offers the publication of the new international volume Artistar Jewels 2016 as well as a new exhibition event at HOMI and an on line shop for artist jewellery. The great success of the two previous editions made it possible to keep the same formula in 2016.
The selections for participating to the third edition started in June. Created by Artistar.it, Artistar is a project aiming to publicise to the maximum the creations of contemporary jewellery designers and artists, both in terms of visibility and in the creation of professional connections through subsequent media and commercial contacts. The 500 creations, main protagonists of the previous editions from than 200 participating designers from 4 continents, were all collected in two publications distributed in bookshops all over Italy and the major European capitals and showcased in several exhibitions organised in Milan, the location of the event. In 2016, Artistar will publish a new book with Logo Fausto Lupetti Editore with both Italian and English content. As always, all jewellery will be available for purchase on the online shop www.artistarjewels.com.
Like every year, Artistar organises an exhibition and a trade show that brings together more than 200 jewels from different parts of the world. HOMI will be the specially selected location to ensure to the jewellery designers great visibility and the opportunity for all participants to meet buyers from all over the world. During HOMI, there will be the official presentation of the Artistar Jewels 2016 volume containing all the news of this latest edition.
Another new development is the Artistar Contest competition that makes it possible for all users to express their opinion by voting their favourite jewel on the website Artistarjewels.com. Winners will be awarded during the event scheduled from 29th January to 1st February when the spotlight will be on Artistar Jewels at HOMI to spread light on the new faces of contemporary jewellery.
