Handbags for working women

The new brand Aragò creates handbags designed for a still unexplored market segment, i.e. working women who don’t want to give up their femininity.

For the launch party of ‘Marianne’, the first style designed for froward-looking women who live their lives balancing fashion, design and innovation, Aragò chose an exceptional godmother, Giuliana Parabiago, one of the most authoritative and followed Italian fashion journalists. Among the many other guests, Nicoletta Reggio, a true reference point on the web for fashion-related issues, as well as some international fashion bloggers like Natasha Stefanenko, Francesca Senette, I Murr, Ludovica Sauer and Barbara Snellenburg.

A particularly glamorous party also thanks to a fashion show that featured on the catwalk a performance in between stage show and fashion show dedicated to four women who changed history. Kathrine Switzer, the first female runner at the Boston Marathon, Mary Quant, the epitome of a free woman, Maud Wagner, the first female tattoo artist, and Wangari Maathai, the first African Nobel Peace Prize winner. The stories inspired the Aragò brand in the creation of Marianne, the first work bag dedicated to what the brand refers to as Femmes d’Avant-garde, women who live in the present but imagine the future and are doing everything to change it.
