Curiel. Between history and future on exhibit in Milan

The exhibition, “Curiel History and Future”, curated by Silvestrin & Associati, is held in the ancient church of San Carpoforo in Milan.

Dedicated to the great fashion designer, Raffaella Curiel, this exhibition develops along a narrative path, with the purpose of focusing attention on several “permanent stars” of the Maison’s philosophy of beauty. Garments, created over time, are united by a dialectical relationship with the art world and are inspired and dedicated to the works of Jim Dine, Picasso, Klimt, Frida Kahlo, Depero, and Chagall: examples of that fashion-culture of which the Curiel brand was standard bearer, pioneer, and leader. No less significant is the La Scala section, which brings together grand ball gowns worn during the Teatro’s premieres.
