DOT TO DOT: It’s a jungle out there !!!

A phenomenal amount of zoological references at the last edition of Dot To Dot, focused on the Autumn/Winter 2018 and held from January 21st and 22nd at The Vinyl Factory in central London.

A veritable Noah’s Ark filled with all sorts of real and imaginary animals, from pets to dinosaurs, from ferocious beasts to lovely unicorns, from creatures of the sea to inhabitants of forests and farms. All depicted in every possible and  imaginable way, from the classic animal spot patterns to paw prints, without forgetting illustrations, appliqués, intarsia, photographic prints and small details on solid colour garments.

The collection I liked the best was designed by Infantium Victoria, especially for the details like the knitted sleeves on fabric garments and the padded pieces padded with a pattern of buttons, just like a classic Chesterfield sofa, and filled with organic vegan kapok.

Also most definitely worth mentioning, the diaphanous dresses and blouses by Their Nibs, the originality of the patterns and colours by Tootsa, the knitwear by The Faraway Gang and by Marion and Little Friend, the jeanswear by Pippins, the outerwear selection at Hetz-Bèbè, the retro mood of the collection by Little Lord & Lady, the knitted hats with pom-poms and the knitted capes by Lala & Pom, the adorable jewellery for kids by A Mini Penny.

On the homeware front, I would like to mention the new ranges by Severina Kids, most specifically the knitted and crocheted toys, the excellent prints by Anamoly and the original illustrations by Mini Wallers.
