FEEL THE YARN back again at PITTI FILATI

FEEL THE YARN has now reached its seventh edition, confirming the importance of the collaboration between Italian yarn mills and the world of international young designers. The Consorzio Promozione Filati (Yarn Promotion Consortium) and PITTI IMMAGINE, with the most important Italian yarn mills, promote the knitwear competition for designers in which 26 selected students from 13 prestigious international fashion and design schools will participate at PITTI FILATI, along with just as many Italian yarn makers, from June 29th to July 1st, 2016, with collections for Fall-Winter 2017/18. The theme of the competition, coordinated by Ornella Bignami of Elementi Moda, is “KNITting Time”. This year, CELC – Confederazione Europea per il Lino e la Canapa (European Confederation for Flax and Hemp) – will also participate in this initiative.
