Galia Lahav Haute Coture summer 2017

Galia Lahav. Israeli designer, Galia Lahav, makes her debut during Paris Haute Couture Week. Her “Victorian Affair” collection is inspired by the Victorian era in England and the “Belle Epoque” in France, periods characterized by innovation and change, like the Industrial Revolution. Numerous references to Victorianism combine with new modern techniques. Prominent necklines, puff sleeves, exquisite corsets, long trains, and precious lace. Timeless embroideries are original from 1890 and the fabric colors are created by hand.
