Gosia Baczyńska s/s 2017
Designer Gosia Baczyńska’s new collection is inspired by myths and legends from Poland’s culture and folklore. Garments are translated and interpreted with a modern twist and a very feminine appeal. Lace, reminiscent of princess dresses from yesteryear, marries with silk in shades of black. Satin, more ethereal, in a sensual game of transparencies, mixes with knitwear embellished by sparkling flecks. The romanticism of delicate flowers, brightened by sequins, contrasts with the texture of denim that transforms into pants, dresses, and jackets with handmade appliqués as flies.
