IHGF Delhi Fair: Beyond all expectations

 

The successful last edition paves the way for the next appointment in February

Focused on the Autumn 2017 season, the 44th edition of IHGF Delhi Fair took place from the 12th to the 16th of October.  Dedicated to everything inherent to homeware, to lifestyle, to fashion and to textiles, the five day event beat all expectations and paved the way to the 45th edition taking place from the 23rd to the 27th of February 2018.

Organised by EPCH twice a year for the Spring and Autumn seasons, the trade show of international relevance has become a key meeting point for the international gift, handicrafts and lifestyle industries. It is a truly comprehensive event, complete with fashion accessories, home accessories, collectibles and gift items.

With more than 3,000 exhibitors divided into 14 different sectors, the fair has witnessed a significant increase in the number of participants and also of orders by buyers from around the world including the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and the Middle East.

A great number of innovative ideas always inspires the buyers, including the new product lines for the coming seasons showcased at the India Expo Center & Mart in New Delhi. The almost thousands stands will enable the overseas buyers to find out more about an event that is now become fundamental. For example, the significant expansion in all categories and the promising assortment of designs and manufacturing techniques for wood carvings, furniture and home accessories, glassware, fashion jewellery, accessories, lace but also toys, household items, gift items, artisanal objects and much more.

The Designers Forum is one of the new developments of the new Spring edition. It features collections from selected Indian designers with the purpose of providing unprecedented access to exhibitors from all major India manufacturing hubs.
