During the latest edition of Milan Fashion Week Elisabetta Franchi sent down the catwalk alongside the womenswear collection the La Mia Bambina range for young girls, a miniature version of the collection for grown-up women. The new range for young girls witnesses a return to tradition and to past values borrowed from a trunk of memories interpreted in a modern contemporary key.
The range for Spring/Summer 2018 is like a new idyll populated by young creatures, immersed in the poetry of Mother Earth and clothed in lightweight, long, refined clothes. A collection with a delicately bucolic approach that takes the shape of a genuine ode to ethereal purity. Mother Nature is expressed through full volume dresses made of silk voile, tulle or cotton muslin. A refined haute couture approach and three-dimensional embroideries embellish the garments along with intertwined ribbons, laces and pearls that refer to times long gone.
