Lanificio Reda: the future of fabrics and materials from the Biella area in Italy

Transmitting the passion for fabric manufacturing, renewing the bond and synergy with the territory, investing in the future and innovation are the fulcrum of the excellent work by Lanificio Reda that over the years has always ended up into securing important partnerships with international fashion and luxury houses. If we add to all the above the extraordinary resources and know-how of the brand and the absolute elegance and high quality of its products, it is easy to understand why Lanificio Reda is now famous all over the world. And why it continues to invest in innovation and research, especially within its own geographical confines.

Thanks to the strength of the relationship with the Biella district in Italy, where the Lanificio Read production plant is located in Valle Mosso, the company is planning to invest in its local territory over 50 million euros over the next five years. Ercole Botto Poala, the CEO of Lanificio Reda, claims that it is necessary to “invest in Biella because it is a district where experience, knowledge, passion are still strong, all those ingredients of that are indispensable nowadays to the Made in Italy know-how.”

The aim is to enhance technology and a greater presence in the international markets as well as offering new job opportunities, rationalising logistics and expanding production, all without adhering to strong eco-sustainable standards.

Accompanied by extraordinary manufacturing skills and accurate style research, the new production is based on two semi-annual collections, 1865 and Active, that follow the seasonal calendar of international prêt-à-porter.

The future of Lanificio Reda is therefore tightly connected to innovation, just as its spirit is tightly tied to fabrics and materials.
