Rough and rarefied atmospheres introduce “Night Drive”, the futuristic collection by Luís Buchinho dedicated to winter. An allusion to the universe of Denis Villeneuve’s “Blade Runner” and the daily life it portrays in 2049. Capes in high-performance materials that protect with style and utility, in a perspective that aims towards the future and prefers resistant fabrics and protective shapes, favoring movement. A mood confirmed by prominent details, such as raglan sleeves, contoured and emphasized waist-lines, long lapels, and large patch pockets. Inspired by the scientist and pioneer of computer-generated art, Lillian Schwartz, prints flirt with digital synthesis and a sophisticated and modern color palette.
