MAISON LOUIS VUITTONVENDÔME, BIENVENUE!

A legacy of style and savoir faire for new generations

wp Maison

Maison Louis Vuitton Vendôme has returned, unveiling its store windows in the most legendary square of Paris. Place Vendome 2. Designed by architect Peter Marino, the Maison returns where its story began over 160 years ago, right where the young Louis opened his first store. Place Vendôme, one of the finest examples of 18th century French mastery, built during the period of Louis XIV, perfectly represents the elegance and craftsmanship embed in the DNA of Louis Vuitton. This splendid Maison bring together all its traditional métiers: couture, prêt-à-porter, jewellery, watches, leather goods, footwear, accessories, and fragrances, as well as artisanal workshops. A guarantee in continuity and an inheritance for future generations. Two are the working ateliers: Haute Joaillerie, where precious stones transform into exclusive jewels – starting with the creation of three exceptional parures in occasion of the new opening – while in the Atelier Rare & Exceptionnel, where emblematic pieces from the latest collections come to life, fitted and customized, and where clients can have exclusive evening gowns created by in-house artisans. Since 1854, Louis Vuitton has produced unique pieces worldwide, combining innovation and style, inventing “The Art of Travel” with its trunks and bags. An exclusive version of the Capucines bag inaugurated the opening, alongside Objets Nomades, a collection of travel and home items created in collaboration with some of the most renowned international designers. The attention to contemporary art and artists is celebrated with the consolidated collaboration between the Maison and Jeff Koons, with a new painting from the “Gazing Ball” series for the iconic Louis Vuitton canvas bags.
