Modest Fashion returns to the Turin catwalks

The event comes to life again thanks to the renewed collaboration between Islamic Fashion Design Council (IFDC) and Torino Fashion Week

The IFDC, the world’s leading organization of Modest Fashion, i.e. fashion according to Islam criteria, and Torino Fashion Week renewed the agreement for the event that last year attracted the attention of press, buyers and fashion professionals. Following the resounding success in 2017, the IFDC is once again the Modest Fashion Official Partner of the fashion week in the capital of Piedmont, the region in Northern Italy, bringing once again Modest Fashion to the attention of the mainstream fashion system.

Torino Fashion Week is taking place from the 27th of June to the 3rd of July: its last three days will be dedicated to the  fashion designers selected by IFDC. “Modest Fashion has proven to be fun, elegant, exciting: it has style and everything one would expect from fashion. The interesting thing is this is not a passing fad: people who adhere to the codes of modest fashion usually embrace this style of life for higher and lifelong reasons has existed since the beginning of time and will exist until the end of time”, declared Alia Khan, president of IFDC.
