Paul Surridge. New Creative Director at Roberto Cavalli

Paul Surridge

Roberto Cavalli S.p.a. has announced the immediate appointment of Paul Surridge as its Creative Director and, as such, he will be responsible for all the Gruppo Cavalli lines and all the creative functions. His debut season will be in 2018, on the runways in Milan in September. An English designer and graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, Surridge worked for Calvin Klein in the 1990s and later with Christopher Bailey at Burberry from 2003 to 2007. After working at Jil Sander as Menswear Design Director under the auspices of Raf Simons, from 2011 to 2014, he became Creative Director at Z Zegna and, in 2014, Creative Consultant for  Acne Studios. About his new assignment, Surridge stated: “It is unique opportunity to contribute a new chapter to the Roberto Cavalli universe, which positively celebrates the beauty, sensuality and power of women.”
