Playtime debuts in Berlin

On July 5th and 6th, Playtime, the new salon dedicated to German and international childrenswear brands, took its first steps in the German capital.

Playtime Berlin, in its first edition in early July, brought together over 120 brands and 1,236 professionals as visitors. A very positive edition, which exhibited rather interesting and exciting prospects for the German salon. The organizers, used to operating over a long term period, have already confirmed the dates for next season: Playtime Berlin will return to the lustrous Palazzo Italia (Unter den Linden 10) on Tuesday January 23rd and Wednesday January 24th, 2018. Initially programmed simultaneously with Berlin Fashion Week, the above dates for the salon were selected along with the exhibitors who will, therefore, be able to present their collections for Fall-Winter 2018/19 in the best possible conditions.

“It was a pleasure – said the director of the even t Sébastien of Hutten – “to launch Playtime Berlin this summer right in the heart of fashion week. Since our core business is children’s fashion, constituting 75% of our exhibition repertory, it seemed crucial to us to try to assist brands and their commercial development in the best way possible, following their production plans.”
