Rising Talents Awards.

The Rising Stars in Design at Maison&Objet.

For each edition, M&O places six promising designers under the spotlight. In collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, this year is Made in Italy. Six young talents were chosen by six prominent figures from the world of Italian design.
This January, the Rising Talents Awards are colored with red, white, and green. Six famous Italian designers – Andrea Branzi, Giulio Cappellini, Rosita Missoni, Piero Lissoni, Luca Nichetto, and Rossana Orlandi – have chosen to become mentors to six rising stars from the panorama of Italian design.
The mentors and their new talents are respectively: architect Andrea Branzi and Federica Biasi, art director Giulio Cappellini and Antonio Facco, fashion designer Rosita Missoni and Marco Lavit, architect Piero Lissoni and Kensaku Oshiro, designer Luca Nichetto and Federico Peri, designer Rossana Orlandi and Guglielmo Poletti.
Each is worthy to represent the new generation of Italian designers who aspire towards excellence – examples of the elegance of Italian craftsmanship – and are open to the inspirations of the world that surrounds them.
