Think Global, Act Local – Eco-Sustainable Products at Jacket Required

The ecological impact of the fashion world is increasingly subject to global research and reflections. Today’s industrial production situation requires urgent changes that are as drastic as they are interesting.

The timely response given by Jacket Required is perfectly reflected in the image of a pebble launched into a lake: once it hits the surface of the water, the ripple effect extends ad infinitum, upsetting the entire process. The announcement of the exciting line-up of eco-friendly brands that join the prestigious international trade show increases its intrinsic value.

Howies, Teva, Tretorn, Peak Performance, Toms, Birkenstock, Fjällräven, Sandqvist, Conscious Step, Absolutely Bear, Didriksons, Element, and Far Afield are just some of the brands that were added to the project launched in collaboration with Blackhorse Lane Ateliers to promote the sustainability of denim.

For a more sustainable future, the collaboration between the trade show and the founder of the atelier, Bilgehan Ates, will involve the innovative processing of raw organic denim and on-site demonstrations on how to rework this fabric, giving it new life. From January 23rd to 24th,only at The Old Truman Brewery in London.
