#Wearitloud: discovering Damur

“Embrace the difference, express yourself” is one of the strongest messages defined by the DAMUR collection. DAMUR is a young brand adopted by the city of Berlin, but its roots are embedded in the oriental culture of its creative director, Damur Huang. For Spring/Summer 2019, focus is on the concept of uniqueness and the importance of finding one’s own voice thanks to a personal style that can cross genders, distorting cuts and lengths, breaking every habit. Far from any form of homologation, and a true protagonist of his time, DAMUR looks towards the social dimension, identifying hashtags as a unit of measurement of each new language. And so this becomes a decorative element on T-shirts, but also on trenches, leaving wearers to decide the tag that best represents them. Deconstructed and reassembled in a mosaic of contrasting inserts and washes where denim is the star but, in a game of dissonance, details inspired by sports and sinuous velvets abound for unisex pieces.
