White Milano: an elegant driving force inspired by a green spirit
From Friday 22nd February to Monday 25th, the Milan fashion scene will focus on a rich global panorama devoted to green: an increasingly emerging trend, which has now become a necessity that can no longer be ignored.
White Milano is proposing a series of exciting projects for the presentation of the A/W 2019/2020 season, focusing on the concept of sustainable innovation in fashion. Knit lab and Lounge|Sphere will be some of the areas dedicated to state-of-the-art knitwear and homewear, respectively.
Special guest, Strateas Carlucci, will present a preview of his collection in a special showroom at Tortona 27|Superstudio Più. The innovative contribution of the Australian designer has already been praised with prizes such as the National Designer Award and the International Woolmark Prize.
The prestigious names on the Milanese and global scene will intersect with each other in an elegant driving force, able to best enhance that which proposes to be one of the leading events for women’s fashion.
Giuseppe Sala (the mayor of Milan), the Honourable Dario Galli (Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economic Development), Giorgio Merletti (President of Confartigianato Imprese) and Mario Boselli (Honorary President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion), are just some of the names who will be present at the cutting of the ribbon at the Show, which will take place at 12:30.
