Scandinavian manifesto

Let’s catch up with Scandinavian fashion at Pitti Uomo in Florence from the 12th to the 15th of June

Appointment with 17 carefully selected Nordic brands, and with their Spring/Summer 2019 collections, at the forthcoming edition of Pitti Uomo.

The Scandinavian Manifesto initiative is the result of the collaboration between the most important menswear event in Italy, if not in the world, and Revolver, a directional trade show that takes place twice a year in Copenhagen. The line-up includes emerging labels and established brands, including Filippa K, Tonsure, Uniforms for the Dedicated, Norse Project, HOPE, Whyred as well as Rue de Tokyo, Forét, Velour and Packmack. Which were all “handpicked because of their emphasis on quality, design signature, or sustainability…we believe that this selection strongly represents the span of Scandinavian designer-driven menswear fashion” reveals Christian Malborn, the founder and creative director of Revolver.

The Scandinavian Manifesto area is going to be located in the Arena Strozzi in the Fortezza da Basso for the entire duration of Pitti Uomo. But, on the 12th and 13th of June, the acclaimed Danish chef Frederik Bille Brahe, who shot to fame thanks to his work at the Apollo Bar in Copenhagen, will prepare some dishes using Italian ingredients and a typically Scandinavian approach.

After this first encounter with the Spring/Summer 2019 collections by a small number of progressive contemporary Scandinavian brands and labels at Pitti Uomo in Florence, enjoy the full Nordic fashion experience in Copenhagen from the 8th to the 10th August at the new edition of Revolver.
