Anteprima, the brand born thanks to the exceptional creative talent of Japanese fashion designer Izumi Ogino, met the world of design on the occasion of Salone del Mobile in Milan. A cocktail party was held last Wednesday, April 13th at the 9, Corso Como boutique with the actress and TV presenter Chiara Gallonardo as special guest.

The collaboration with Saba resulted in ‘Graceful Geometry’, an ideal itinerary where the key styles of the Anteprima Spring/Summer 2016 collection engaged in a perfectly harmonious conversation with the new Saba outdoor collections by Emilio Nanni and Paolo Grasselli creating an authentic symphony of geometric shapes and chromatic notes dominated by white, green, blue.

In addition to the partnership with Saba, the sculptures of the ‘Drawings about Emptiness’ series by the artist Carlo Cossignani were also showcased in intriguing synergy between the metal artwork and the Wirebag by Anteprima. The slender and yet powerful sculptures by Cossignani, which alternate solids and voids with extraordinary effects, gave way to a fascinating interplay of references with the iconic Anetprima handbags, hand-knitted using a special PVC yarn.

In perfect balance between fashion and art, the performance that came to life in the Anteprima store summarized the peculiarities of two equally fascinating universes that became closer to each other in the name of a highly innovative aesthetics that emphasizes the quality of the execution. Anteprima hosted the installation for the entire duration of  Milan Design Week, from April 12th to 16th.
