It is Apollo’s love for Daphne that inspires the Ashi Studio collection. A story of pride, pleasure, and defeat. Three emotions that overwhelm Apollo in the desperate search for the nymph who rejects him, yet, who has captured his heart with an arrow shot from Eros. Layers of fabric recall the metamorphosis of Daphne who turns into a laurel. Dark colors reflect the torments of the sun god. Forms created with wisdom, sustained materials, and  hunting that becomes an incessant search for love.
