Casey Cadwallader for Mugler

Casey Cadwallader.  New Creative Director for Mugler women.

Casey Cadwallader has been named new Creative Director for Thierry Mugler women’s ready-to-wear.  Before November 30th, the  American designer was at the head of Acne Studio’s women’s pre-collections. On December 1st, Cadwallader replaced David Koma,  who leaves the French fashion house after four years to solely focus on his eponymous brand, which was a big hit during  London Fashion Week. “The Clarins Group is very happy to welcome Cadwallader”, stated Sandrine Groslier, Chief Executive Officer for the  Clarins Fragrance Group, which controls the Mugler brand for both fragrances and fashion. In addition to Acne Studios, the 38-year-old designer has also previously collaborated with Narciso Rodriguez, J. Mendel, Loewe, and Tse.
