Contemporary romance, and lots of creativity, are the lifeblood of the new collection by Dutch designer Christian Lagerwaard, dedicated to Spring-Summer 2018 and presented at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris. The modernity of everyday life, stimulating his fervid imagination, has given life to garments that perfectly interpret the latest needs in fashion. The evocations of those who today live their lives with nonchalance, with a free and youthful spirit. Keeping in line with the DNA that is the basis of his philosophy, Lagerwaard continues his stylistic research through the reinterpretation of well-structured materials and fabrics, indispensable elements that, in a playful interaction of shapes and colors, and through his personal perception, dress the entire collection with a romantic allure. The designer’s atelier is located in the heart of Paris, in Place-Vendôme, where he receives his clients by appointment, while Maastricht is home to the maison’s headquarters.
