Ettore Bilotta , independent Italian designers , draws the new uniforms to flight and ground for Alitalia
Aristocratic uniform of high quality that use green and dark gray chevron fabrics inspired by gentleman of ’50s and’ 60s .
After nearly twenty years, Alitalia renews the uniform of its employees (about 5.700) thanks to the independent couture
designer Ettore Bilotta and his atelier team in Milan.
The dandy touch is given by the double-breasted waistcoat, candid white cotton shirt and the accessories , ties , clutch bags ,
gloves and belt , bag included .
The wardrobe, presented with a fashion show in Rome , at the presence of Luca Cordero di Montezemolo ( Chairman) ,
James Hogan ( Vice President ) and Cramer Ball ( Chief Executive Officer) , will have the logo Alitalia on the bag and gloves for him ,
on bags and the hat for her.
The uniforms for female employees include coat, jacket , shirt, skirt , trousers , an elegant dress , hat , bag , gloves , belts ,
scarves and stockings in shades, made with fish bone pattern fabric , in red, burgundy and green or gray – green degradè tones .
“I wanted to give at the project the expression of the purest Italian style – adds Ettore Bilotta –
imagining that Italy can be a dream for everyone and that a flight Alitalia is a like ‘ being in an elegant living room’ . ”
