G-STAR RAW: eco-sustainability and design
Raul Cruz, Managing Brand Director of G-Star Raw explains to us the future projects of the brand, which celebrates its 30th anniversary and the second children’s collection, produced and distributed by the great Kidiliz Group.
This second kids’ collection of the G-Star Raw brand – the first is coming out now with the AW19/20 season on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the brand – will bring many new features mainly in the eco-sustainable sector.
The SS20 collection expresses itself with an important development aimed at promoting the eco-sustainable aspect, producing a collection of samples where the cotton garments are 100% eco-sustainable, recyclable or organic, while the garments are not entirely made of cotton, such as the jackets will be 90% recyclable polyester; in addition to respecting all the protocols for chemical sustainability parameters. All this is to obtain a product of the highest quality, design and innovation.
The G-STAR Raw children’s collection is mainly characterised by 3 elements: its DNA, a solid past that will allow it to negotiate a new and rich future; sustainability, a great point of reference for the future of collections and an innovative designer to ensure consistency with market demands and branding, which in the adult collection can be identified by the innovative research.
For next summer, the children’s collection has doubled its presence from 150 to 300 items and can be found with 700 sales outlets in Europe, of which 120 are in Italy.
Kidiliz wants to make G-Star Raw an excellent brand in its portfolio, positioning it as a leader for innovation thanks to its eco-sustainability and design.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of G-Star Raw, together with the Kidiliz group, it has chosen to embark on a new path of quality and respect, without forgetting a coherent and innovative design.
