Givenchy. An extremely elegant high fashion show with rigorous lines for the Parisian stage. The standards of the atelier are all there. Cuts are perfect, as are proportions. Impeccable, with a touch of extravagance which makes a difference, like a huge bow that hides a backpack or latex for pants and capes. Clare Waight Keller draws falsely simple clothes with a sure hand and with a certain minimalism that flows into cascades of sparkling, tinkling fringes, softened by some naive lace.
