Gold Edition for the Centenary of Persol

Persol celebrates a century of success and edits a golden eyewear, the Persol 9649SG Limited Edition, a masterpiece made of 18 carats of the precious metal.

Luxory as the brand’s story, begun in 1917 by Italian optical and photographer Giuseppe Ratti with the model Protector, eyeglasses designed for italian aviators and subsequently also used by american and swiss pilots.

The name Persol, an acronym for ‘later the sun’, comes after few time, like the arrow logo and the Meflecto system that makes the rods flexible and adhering to the face.

 

Worn by famous stars like Marcello Mastroianni, Steve Mc Queen and many other great names in international cinema.
