Homi is a quality incubator of new possibilities for the development of Made in Italy, a container of projects and ideas that lay the foundation to create real growth opportunities for companies that invest in design.

Year after year, the trade show, whose next edition is scheduled at Fiera Milano from the 16th to 19th September, introduces visitors to the excellence of Italian craftsmanship in its many different local traditions, significant starting points that allow the creation of unpublished styles. _ABO9878

As always, the trade show aims to give space to new ideas thanks to an ever more comprehensive merchandise offering and a portfolio full of initiatives and events that contribute to the conversation among creative companies, trendsetters and retailers.

Recent research confirms that Made in Italy is at the peak in terms of interest from foreign markets and is an essential and constant point of reference for Italian themselves in terms of taste and when thinking of home renewal.

As for the international market, Homi developed a program of promotional activity aimed at foreign companies and in particular foreign buyers. The specific division into satellite areas (including Fashion & Jewels about which more later), an exhibiting formula that combines products to environments and usage trends, has been confirmed again.

Also very valuable are the thematic sections such as Homi Experience, Homi Creazioni and Creazioni Designer, devoted to experimental and research projects by young designers and artists. Once again, the presence of the winners of the Homi Maker Design Awards, the competition for under 35 creatives who will show the most interesting potential of design objects, has also been confirmed.

As for the Fashion & Jewels sector, this edition will, once again, present a jewellery showcase: minimal or gaudy, from yesterday and from today, the result of Italian tradition or immersed in the history of faraway places, the jewels will be showcased by historic Made in Italy companies but also by prestigious international brands, which will outline the Spring/Summer 2017 trends.

The September edition will witness the end of the cycle of exhibitions dedicated to the Masters and Masterpieces of Italian jewellery: after representing the years of the ‘Dolce Vita’ and of the economic _ABO0767boom, the birth of ready to wear and the industrialisation of jewellery, the new ‘Gioielli alla Moda’ exhibition, which tells the story of jewellery from 2000 to the present day, can be visited in the second half of September in a prestigious location in Milan.
