The great return of the Dondup Kidswear collection
Dondup announces the return of Dondup Kidswear and the debut of the Spring/Summer 2019 collection at the forthcoming edition of Pitti Bimbo, which is taking place in Florence from the 21st to the 23rd June. Since 2016, the board of directors of the brand has concentrated part of its efforts on a number of initiatives whose main objective is to bring in-house as many brand activities as possible in order to facilitate the brand global development and growth. Therefore, it has also been announced that from the Spring/Summer 2019 season the design, distribution and communication strategy for Dondup Kidswear will be entirely managed by the company. Alongside these new steps, a manufacturing agreement with the Italian company Gimel, a long term partner and a world leader in children’s fashion.
The Made in Italy traditions and values remain at the base of Dondup Kidswear, a brand that will continue to offer comfortable contemporary garments for children inspired by the menswear and womenswear collections. Dondup Kidswear will be available in the brand online store and in the flagship store in Via della Spiga 50 in Milan as well as in selected retailers worldwide.
The international private equity fund L. Cattertoon, under the leadership of the president Matteo Marzotto and the CEO Marco Casoni, controls 91% of Dondup.
