Lagerfeld launches his accessories pop-up shop, “Karl Ikonik”, at the Excelsior in Milan during the city’s fashion week
Located on the ground floor, the pop-up will be inaugurated on September 15th, in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week, and will remain open until October 9th. The German designer’s creations will be shown on the façade of the Excelsior with special digital video-animation on maxi-screens that go from the ground floor to the fourth floor. The star of the temporary corner will be the new Karl Ikonik collection, which includes handbags, wallets, small leather goods and lifestyle items, such as passports, key rings, and luggage tags.
The line incorporates Lagerfeld’s unmistakable look in charming graphics distinguished by typical, iconic features: sunglasses, leather gloves, and tuxedo jackets. Through his collaboration with the Excelsior Milan, Karl Lagerfeld reaffirms his will and desire to secure partnerships with the most prestigious retailers in the world. Italy is definitely an essential market for fashion consumers, and the Excelsior is one of the most exclusive shopping destinations in Milan: a modern and avant-garde fashion hub that offers a unique and innovative glimpse into the world of fashion.
