In the year of the 45th anniversary of lssey Miyake’s career, creative director, Yoshiyuki Miyamae, brings a kaleidoscopic collection onto the catwalk, made up of stripes and more, of the finest pleats -as always- that flirt with an almost sci-fi world, but also an ethnic one. The designer proposes pleated pieces, with a semblance of crumpled sheets of paper covering the bodies of the runway models, while wonderful capes bring to mind the early’9o’.
