Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture A/W 2017/18

Ironic, unconventional, provocative. As usual, Jean Paul Gaultier puts on a show and, for next Fall/Winter 17-18, he creates the perfect wardrobe for the Snow Queen: Anna Winter, Santa Clothes, Igloo Igloo, and Lady Gla Gla are just some of the looks in this collection of desecrated perfect garments. Large enveloping knits, long and mysterious quilted coats with kimono shoulders, evening saris in a pop version, full of mysticism. Recurring themes are bursting with more intense meanings, remaining faithful to ethics and aesthetics, what have become the distinctive symbols of the designer.

More on Collezioni Haute Couture 166, out in September.
