Lagerfeld childhood

The legendary German designer introduces first ready-to-wear collection for kids during afternoon event in Paris.

Karl Lagerfeld makes its debut in children’s fashion after reaching an international licensing agreement with CWF (Children Worldwide Fashion) by introducing his first ever kids’ ready-to-wear collection called Karl Lagerfeld Kids. The unveiling event took place at the label’s headquarters, which are located in an historic building in Paris’ 7th district, and was held in the afternoon to allow parents to bring their kids, who had the opportunity to take part in creative workshops including drawing sessions under supervision of renowned illustrator Tiffany Cooper. Over 50 journalists and blogger were present to document the unveiling of the collection, which already looks like it’s going to be next summer’s hottest news in the world of childrenswear. The new spring/summer 2016 clothing line ranges from a rock-chic wardrobe for budding rock stars to a more playful and colorful summer theme. Gusts also paid extreme attention to the wide selection of accessories and footwear inspired to Choupette, Karl’s beloved cat.
