Founded in 2015 in Denmark by the designers Louise Møllermark & Søren Hougesen, Melula is a new footwear label for children, whose main aim is to combine creativity with functionality. This approach results in avant-garde products that are at the same time streamlined, trendy and gender neutral. Furthermore, Melula focuses very carefully on the manufacturing process and works exclusively with ethically correct partners that respect the European Union standards on labor conditions.
The shoes in the S/S 2018 collection are multilayered and very colourful. The seemingly infinite range of patterns and prints makes them unique, at the same time fully reflecting the aesthetics of Scandinavian design. Made of selected high quality materials that ensure comfort, they accompany children with style and personality while they grow.
