A new glamorous scenario at MIPEL

MIPEL presents The Glamorous, a section dedicated to established buyers and emerging designers, and Scenario, a brand new exhibition hub for leather goods and fashion accessories.

These are the distinctive developments of the next edition of MIPEL-thebagshow, the most important international event of the sector, scheduled from 14th to 17th February in Hall 10 of FieraMilano – Rho. Four days entirely dedicated to the excellence of international made in Italy leather goods over 10,000 square meters with more than 300 brands from all over the planet and 12,000 expected international buyers looking for the best leather goods and accessories companies. The architects of the new course are Riccardo Braccialini, president of AIMPES, and Roberto Briccola, president of MIPEL, who are aiming to make the trade show the most important international event for the leather segment as well as a fashion and new trends hub. Spotlight on ‘The Glamorous – Il Quinto Elemento’, an exhibition space and a link between buyers and young designers. Four prestigious buyers “adopt” four directional designers, giving visibility to their collections both in a dedicated area within the trade show and in the windows of their stores. The ‘Scenario’ initiative focused on new labels and the most interesting emerging talents is also completely new. A new full exhibition area, set up and inspired by the four elements – air, water, earth and fire – offers a genuine multi-sensory journey thanks to the holographic pieces by Archè-Touch the Future.
The position of the fair within Hall 10 on the ground floor has been confirmed: a choice that reinforces the synergy between MIPEL and TheMicam by simplifying access between the two trade shows and highlighting the close link between the two segments of leather goods and footwear, two jewels of the crown of the Italian fashion system.
