Olvi’s the promised land

Olga:  the creative mind behind Olvi’s… and behind her dream.

This is the story of a little girl who dreamt of princess dresses and ended up dressing princesses. A dream come true. It all begins in a small town where Olga grows up. Here,  the little girl falls in love with handcrafted lace, taking her first steps towards the fashion world…towards her dream. To pursue this dream, she moves west, and it is in Amsterdam that her first creations come to life in her atelier. Today, her collection proposes sophisticated long cocktail dresses, skirts and pants, tunics and jackets, along with highly-selected bridal wear. Spurred by the passion that has guided her, Olga’s creations are handcrafted using the finest French lace, greatly valued by her  international female clientele. A very special and demanding clientele that, in a lapse of time  ranging  from only six to eight weeks, can already wear the models ordered in their very unique design and quality. Fairytale gowns for a fairytale come true. Olvi’s today distributes under its own brand in thirty countries worldwide, keeping that love for craftsmanship alive through its 100 plus employees in its numerous and widely allocated production facilities. A trip around the world with a suitcase full of fantastic pieces. The close-knit team gathers its inspiration from wide and varied places,  places that lead us to live a fantastic story, recounted in the  designs that integrate vintage elements with contemporary influences. A poetic chromatic chart colors lace red for Valentine’s Day, deep black or midnight blue for evenings, illuminated by touches of silver for elegant occasions, purple and gray for  formal venues and, through a constant search for exclusive styles, brides will find the dresses of their dreams in delicate shades of white, ivory, or baby pink. While, for that other special person on that special day, a thought goes to the mother-of-the-bride with tailor-fit dresses, since femininity is timeless.
