The colours of the gems in the new High Jewelry collection by Piaget are now even more splendid and bright, allowing the craftsmanship of the master goldsmiths to emerge in full life. The maison, already famous for its watches, whose roots date back to the XIX century, registered the brand in 1943 and along the way was able to transform its timepieces into exquisite objects, not only from a mechanical point of view, but also for its passion underlying every aesthetic and material choices, which were never trivial. These are truly collection pieces, made to be worn and cherished. The “Sunlight Escape” collection was born under Yves G. Piaget’s artistic direction. It was presented to the world at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, in the muffled boutique in Rue de la Paix, in the fine salon of the best jewelers of the world. Asymmetrical shapes, strength and grace, vibrant stones that sing an hymn to the joie de vivre, glamorous golden and rose gold, a crescendo of emeralds and diamonds alternating with lapislazuli and Paraiba tourmalines. This collection, crafted in the Geneva atelier, is surprisingly modern.

In the picture under: kite-shaped emeralds are selected and cut to create an overall harmony, a true hallmark of the savoir-faire born from the collaboration with cutting-edge gemologists. They had one year to reach their goal: the extraordinary Green Borealis collier. For a moment, time stopped.
