The Firenze4Ever TechDreamers initiative by Luisaviaroma hosts I Pinco Pallino to celebrate the sometimes dreamlike vision of childhood typical of the brand
On the one hand, a homage to the noble tradition of Italian tailoring. On the other, innovative inspirations and last generation materials in a combination of classic and contemporary experimentation. This is the I Pinco Pallino dream for Autumn/Winter 2016.
To celebrate the magical and sometimes dreamlike vision of childhood that has always been an inspiration source of the I Pinco Pallino collections, Firenze4Ever TechDreamers, the initiative by Luisaviaroma dedicated to the always fascinating theme of dreams, is hosting the iconic luxury childrenswear Italian brand during the next edition of Pitti Bimbo. A special video installation and a cocktail presentation, scheduled in the first of the three day event dedicated to children’s fashion, focuses on the new I Pinco Pallino collection, an almost perfect interpretation of the #TechDreamers concept, with which Luisaviaroma pays homage this time to the visionaries who use technology to give shape and substance to dreams.
The collection is indeed an almost perfect mixture of classic and modern and interprets in a contemporary key the classic imaginary of the brand. The ‘Couture’ range is characterized by sartorial constructions, abundant details, structured volumes, precious inserts and embroideries on brocade, organza, laser cut metallic leather. The new ‘Main Collection’, carried forward from the seasonal capsule collections from the previous Autumn/Winter, is this time inspired by the guiding figure of a cat that becomes a printed and embroidered fun character. Versatile looks, with refined contrast games between bon chic bon genre details and fits designed for everyday life, embellished with leather patches, gemstones appliqués, zippers, mask-like prints. Last but not least, the new address of the I Pinco Pallino 90 square meter boutique is in Via Vittoria 35 in Rome, a now larger mono brand shop than the store previously situated on Via del Babuino.
