Première Vision Paris: a cornucopia of new developments

Yet another exciting not-to-be-missed appointment for all fashion professionals in February

The next edition of the Parisian trade show, focused on a truly comprehensive and varied offer for the Spring/Summer 2018 season, promises to be full of truly interesting surprises.

Held at the Parc d’Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte from February 7th to 9th, it will witness the high-profile debut of Wearable Lab, a new section dedicated to one of today’s most important developments, i.e. the constantly growing and evolving connection between fashion and technology.

Another important development is the evolution of Première Vision Leather that will have a stronger impact thanks to the contributions from the footwear, leather goods and apparel segments and also thanks to the Smart Creation Première Vision platform, which seeks to highlight a new set of responsibilities, values, assets, strategies and perspectives. The ‘Leather Smart Conversation: Responsible Creation and Coming Challenges for the Leather Industry’ conference by Giusy Bettoni, president of C.L.A.S.S. and Première Vision consultant, is just one of the many events connected to this truly interesting platform.

Furthermore, a selection of 27 artisans will reveal their cutting-edge know-how in textiles, leather and accessories in the highly specialised Maison d’Exceptions section, for the first time located in Hall 3. And, once again, Première Vision Manufacturing will showcase the latest developments by specialised companies with established know-how and expertise in the manufacturing and production fields.

As per norm, the February edition of Première Vision Paris will be characterised by the latest and most important trends. And, as per usual, it will fuel and encourage change, evolution and transformation in the textile and fashion fields by, for example, highlighting the developments in techno textiles and apparel and the advancements in “smart” responsible and eco-friendly textile products. As well as rekindling and reviving the interest of the entire fashion system by providing a decidedly comprehensive and across the range brand selection and new complementarities between companies and buyers, especially when it comes to customised exclusive creations.

Première Vision Paris is a truly inspirational one stop show that with its six separate sections offers new and easier itineraries thanks to new synergy among the different halls, to a completely reorganised offer and to cutting-edge displays that help to grasp and understand better the current and future global vision of fashion.
