First store in Italy for Issey Miyake designed by Tokujin Yoshioka

Issey Miyake opens the first flagship store in Italy in Milan, in a historic building – Palazzo Reina – in via Bagutta 12, in the fashion quadrilateral.

About 500 sqm on multiple floors, rich in architecture and design, a new concept of space to sell.

The interior project is handled by Tokujin Yoshioka, which combines the historic urban landscape with a futuristic inner intervention, in order to express the passage of time. Streaks of history and future, fabric and colored aluminum with the same technique used to dye yarns.

The essence in design, harmonized with technology and manual work, characterize not only the interior of the store but reflect the philosophy behind the creations of Issey Miyake.

On display, collections Issey Miyake,Issey Miyake Men Pleats Please, Issey Miyake Homme Plisse’, Issey Miyake Bao Bao, Issey Miyake 132 5., Issey Miyake In-Ei, Issey Miyake Parfums, Issey Miyake Watch e Issey Miyake Eyes.
