A VERY SUCCESSFUL FIRST EDITION FOR AN NEW ITALIAN TRADE SHOW

A very successful first edition for the brand new trade show TheOneMilano. The result of the merger of the two pre-existing trade shows Mipap and Mifur, the vision and mission of the new appointment are indeed focused on the global markets as confirmed not only by the great number of international exhibitors but also by the very strong contingent of international visitors.

The collections for the upcoming season by a total of 286 brands proposed by 244 exhibitors, almost 50% of which from outside Italy, were showcased to 11,154 fashion professionals, 63% of which travelled to Italy from 82 different countries, with the vast majority coming from outside Europe, more specifically from Russia, China and South Korea.

“We have worked hard to create an exhibition that didn’t exist before…I am not at all surprised it’s been a success…we have become the international point of reference for the sector” declared enthusiastically Norberto Albertalli, president of TheOneMilano, who concluded by stating “There is no magic formula: to be successful you have always needed to match supply with demand, so in our case to exhibit collections that can generate real sales turnover”.

The next appointment with TheOneMilano is scheduled to take place from the 22nd to the 25th of September, therefore at the same with the Milan Fashion Week edition dedicated to the womenswear and women’s accessories collections for the Spring/Summer 2018 season.
