Rossignol Apparel with the designer Damir Doma for a new ‘Urban Mobility’ capsule collection

New collaboration of Rossignol Apparel for the next Spring-Summer collection 2019 deals with the theme ‘Urban Mobility’. It comes in a capsule collection designed with the designer Damir Doma dedicated to outdoor sports-chic inspired by the world of e-mountain bikes.

An elaboration of the iconic sportswear linked to the DNA of the brand that combines functionality and performance with an urban aesthetic of international taste” – says the designer.

I had the pleasure of working with the incredible know-how of Rossignol and its material and technological partners, as well as with the avant-garde reflective fabrics of Reda Active by Lanificio Reda. For example, a photo-reflecting and water-resistant technical membrane that shines during the 12 hours of nighttime as the sun goes down “.

The capsule includes 60 garments, including sports jackets, T-shirts, trousers, sweatshirts, polo shirts and knitwear, loged and recognizable for the purity of the lines and colors, ready for the ‘urban jungle’. An ultra-high-performance wardrobe, made of quick-drying stretch fabrics, completely breathable, insulating and water-repellent.

The project with Damir Doma is part of a strategy led by Alessandro Locatelli, CEO of Rossignol Apparel, for an active and elegant lifestyle also in the urban, business and fashion sectors, the ideal continuum of winter high-performance and lifestyle lines.

We believe in the desire to live the outdoor world, all year round and not just from a performing point of view; – says Locatelli – the mega brand Rossignol allows to extend its research from winter sports to activities such as hiking, trekking, trail-running and modern ‘urban heroes’ such as city bikers. It is no a coincidence that the Rossignol Group, led by Bruno Cercley, has expanded a significant portfolio of complementary brands that also includes Time and Felt bicycles and the Raidlight-Vertical project, a company that has the right to establish ‘hicking’ circuits in the world for athlete

s and walkers with backpackers.”

The entire P-E2019 collection will be distributed internationally through direct stores, the Rossignol Group e-commerce platform and the wholesale channel.  <Barbara Tassara>
