An exhibition in the North of England celebrates the career of Chris Moore, the king of catwalk photography
His gentle demeanour, unhurried pace, lean frame, winning smile on the kind bespectacled face have been a fixture on the international catwalk scene for over six decades. For more than sixty years his camera has being capturing all the key moments on the Paris, Milan, London and New York runways. And now Chris Moore, the undisputed king of catwalk photography, and his astounding career, perfectly summarised by Moore himself with the words “I capture the catwalk”, are celebrated in a major exhibition displaying 200 original photographs, including never-seen-before shots and backstage images.‘Catwalking: Fashion through the lens of Chris Moore’ is at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle in North England from July 7th 2018 to January 6th 2019.
