Looking forward
The world-famous Italian textile company introduces ‘Atelier’, a collection of top-of-the-range preciously refined cashmere yarns. The new season also witnesses a great number of other interesting new developments for all the other various Filpucci collections, including more and more eco-certifications for their yarns, consistently with a philosophy that wholeheartedly embraces environmental sustainability. The recycled range grows further with sustainable wools, with GOTS organic silks, with viscose yarns obtained from selected trees according to carefully programmed and controlled wood management. In the pipeline, imminent certifications also for the mohair and alpaca yarns while the eco-certifications now extends also to finished products thanks to the signature responsible innovation” initiative available to all Filpucci customers. The ‘Diffusion’ collection for Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 includes thirty products of which twenty new products and at Pitti Filati the ‘Woollen’ selection is unveiling 30% of new products, thus expanding the offer of feather-weight carded yarns and superfine voluminous mohair.
