Significant growth for Bubble London

The UK’s largest exhibition devoted to children and babies recorded a 37% increase in international visitors

The Islington Business Design Center once again hosted Bubble London, the largest and most important trade show dedicated to childrenswear in the UK. British and international brands, together under the same roof, have shown the new collections for the A/W 16 season in this very successful edition, with many new launches and exclusive offers.

There were 235 collections, including 85 new entries; international visitors increased by 37%, and 50% were visiting the event for the first time. The presence of many start-ups was also significant. Feedback from the exhibitors, in the aftermath of the trade fair, was very positive, as reflected in the words of Daniel Sismondi: “It was the first time that Brand Staple exhibited at Bubble. We have presented three of our brands – Guess, Trussardi and Liu-Jo – and we were delighted by the reactions of the visitors. We will surely return for the next edition and we will bring even more brands!

The opinion of a buyer, Helen Schouwenaar of Miniverse (Amsterdam):” I came to Bubble because I was looking for inspiration and found a brand of really beautiful shoes and an interesting label that offers skin care products. But I also love From Babies With Love, the brand that won this edition’s Rising Star Award”. Incidentally, From Babies With Love was also honored for its social commitment, as its profits are used to help abandoned children around the world. The various seminars and round tables were also very interesting and had a great following, while the director of Bubble London, Lindsay Hoyes, announced the upcoming launch of Bubble Bump, an area dedicated to motherhood and nursery products.

The spring/summer 17 edition of the trade fair will still be held in Islington, on 19th and 20th June.
