We often wonder how art influences fashion. Viktor & Rolf have dodged the question by making their fashion show a real artistic performance, their collection, emblematically entitled ‘Wearable Art’, in the making right on the catwalk. Crumpled canvas on show, broken, that fit the silhouette creating sensational sculpture dresses. The Palais de Tokyo becomes the stage for an exciting event, which traces the exploits of the great painters, with particular reference to the work ‘The Threatened Swan’ by Dutchman Jan Asselijn.
