White Gallery – Bridal designs London

A wonder of grace and beauty

The exquisite craftsmanship of the entire Sassi Holford collection, characterised by the simplicity of nude sleeveless sculptural dresses embellished by clouds of tulle meticulously embroidered with pearls and crystals, by the masterfully angled pleats that create intriguing volumes for the only apparently simple but in reality carefully constructed gowns, by the perfectly built bodices that elongate and enhance the length of the female body thanks to the use of British made lace placed in different directions.

The Stephanie Allin Couture ‘Alexa’ dress with layers of tulle with floral embroideries in pastel muted tones and the ‘Livvi’ gown with the most perfect V neck and bugle glass beads that add a mesmerising shimmer.

The Ancient Greece inspired collection by Zaeem Jamal with its beautiful pearl hand embroideries, a recurrent trend spotted in many other collections.

The cascade of ruches in a wonderful shade of dark blue for the high impact full length gown by Savin London. And again the recurring trend of multicoloured floral and botanical embroideries and prints that graciously adorn not just the bodice but the gowns in their entirety. As well as the tea tinted tones and the more dramatic strong colours such as burgundy, claret, deep purple, vibrant heather green, full moss green.

Last, but most certainly not least, the best ever bridesmaid outfits I have ever seen, and most probably will ever see, i.e. the Nabi range by Jenny Yoo, the American brand that has invented and patented a dress that can be worn in over 20 different ways.

A pleasurable stroll along the aisles of White Gallery, the premium bridal event in Britain held over two floors of a temporary marquee in the scenic Battersea Park on the south bank of the River Thames from May the 14th to the 16th, revealed many other wonderful surprises on top of the ones already mentioned previously.

Like, for example, the excellent footwear collections by Freya Rose and by Diane Hassal, two brands whose collections easily translate into daywear and eveningwear and are therefore not confined exclusively to the bridal segment. As well as the super adorable flower girl and pageboy outfits by Nicky MacFarlane and the exquisite jewellery by the likes of St Eramus Jewellery and Richard Designs.

The next appointment with this inspiring bridal event is taking place from the 13th to the 15th of May 2018 in the same location.
