Alviero Martini. 10 years of “ALV – Andare Lontano Viaggiando”
The designer from Cuneo celebrates the tenth anniversary of his creative journey and launches a new watch collection.
“Andare Lontano Viaggiando – ALV”. Going far by travel. Alviero Martini’s new creative adventure is ten years old. The designer from the Piedmont region of Italy launches his collection of watches, which will be showcased in the most prestigious stores in Italy at the end of October, while premiering at the Tarì in Caserta (Campania) last Saturday, October 8th during the Precious World Trade Fair.
A collection for which Martini is also a testimonial. The designer, with the passport stamps he “maniacally” collected through the course of his travels, continues a creative search that has led the brand to grow rapidly during its ten years of business. A line dedicated to travel in its five color variations: safari – the brand’s symbolic print – denim and white – and the more wintery brown and black.
Along with its watches, ALV’s creator has come to offer the market a variety of other lines: leather goods, fragrances, men’s and women’s clothing, beachwear, shoes, and even a line of pet accessories. During the ten years of its existence, ALV has become popular worldwide – distributed in Russia, USA, and the Middle East – but also in the most important of duty-free shops across the globe.
With ALV – Andare Lontano Viaggiando – designed by Alviero Martini, the “traveling designer” proposes his line of watches to a sophisticated clientele of veteran globetrotters, capable of traversing urban or intercontinental destinations always with an elegant, unique style.
The Passport line expresses itself with a design that collects all the stamps from Alviero’s passports, each cherished with extreme care, since “every frontier is a new conquest”, as he himself likes to describe his travel adventures with genuine passion. Each entry or exit stamp, from over 100 countries visited, are alternately arranged with the ALV brand stamp, creating a decorative pattern – harmonious as much as it is charming – for bags, accessories, and clothing. “With the watch collection” – states Martini – “an important element is added to what the brand proposes and that, ever since its inception, has raised great interest in clients who have been following me for decades with great fondness.”
