Georges Makaroun – Atelier

Designer Georges Makaroun pays homage to an elegant, casual woman. Presented in his new showroom on Avenue Montaigne, his collection is inspired by silhouettes from the 1920s. Dresses with architectural forms and second skin corsets, studied in detail, are able to combine traditional couture with modern subtleties. Italian lace, silk, and taffeta are adorned with hand-made embroidery. Fashioned in the Beirut atelier, 300 hours are required to complete each piece. A capsule of accessories and jewelry personally designed by Georges add a final touch to the collection.
